As our first pilot cafe, we’re so thankful to Kath and Nick for taking a chance on our concept and for supporting this project 100%. We are stoked to have them, Greta and the whole brilliant team as part of the circular network helping shape a lower-waste Bude.
Berries Community Cafe
Berries Community Cafe is a charitable, community-run cafe operated by Neetside Community Centre, created to offer an affordable, welcoming space for people across Bude. The cafe serves reasonably priced breakfasts, lunches, homemade cakes and hot drinks, all designed to be accessible to the whole community.
Berries is known for its strong community focus. It runs a brilliant Pay It Forward scheme to help ensure no one goes without a warm drink or meal, and it hosts free workshops, groups and activities that support wellbeing, creativity and social connection. It’s a friendly hub where people can meet, take part, or simply enjoy a quiet moment in a warm space.
By joining Cup Club Bude, Berries Community Cafe is reinforcing its commitment to supporting the community in practical, meaningful ways. They have made the bold move of committing to no longer ordering any single-use cups. Their move to returnable cups helps reduce waste and encourages more sustainable habits across the town.

Based in the centre of Bude, North Coast Wine is an independent wine shop, and coffee & cocktail lounge. Known for its carefully curated range of wines, local spirits, craft beers and specialty drinks. With knowledgeable staff and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s a popular spot for enjoying a drink in an elegant and refined setting.
North Coast offers excellent coffee, regular tasting events, seasonal specials, cheese & charcuterie boards, and a welcoming space for both locals and visitors to unwind. Their focus on high quality products and supporting small and local producers makes it a standout independent business in town.

Little Pig Farm Shop
Located just outside Bude, Little Pig Farm Shop is a relaxed café, farm shop and rural escape all in one. Known for it’s hearty menu, homemade cakes and locally sourced produce, it’s a favourite stop for anyone looking for good food in a welcoming fireside setting.
Alongside the café and shop, Little Pig also offers on-site accommodation and the popular Pigshed Sauna, giving guests a unique place to unwind, recharge and enjoy slow, mindful time in nature. Their focus on local suppliers, quality ingredients and thoughtful experiences makes Little Pig a much-loved part of the wider Bude community.

The Courtyard Cafe
Nestled in Bude’s charming Lansdown Mews, The Courtyard Cafe is a much-loved local spot known for great coffee, great food and the biggest outdoor seating area in town – a proper sun-trap perfect for people watching. Dog-friendly, relaxed and full of character, it’s a go-to for locals and visitors alike.
Now proudly part of Cup Club Bude, The Courtyard Cafe is helping lead the shift toward a lower-waste, community-minded Bude, offering returnable cups for takeaway drinks and showing how simple sustainable choices can be.

Café Limelight
Café Limelight is located inside The Castle Bude, one of the town’s most cherished cultural landmarks, owned and operated by Bude-Stratton Town Council. Set within this Grade II-listed building overlooking Summerleaze Beach, the café offers a space for locals and visitors to relax with a coffee while exploring the castle’s heritage centre, galleries and exhibitions.
As of 1st December, Café Limelight joined Cup Club Bude, supporting the town’s reusable cup scheme and helping to reduce single-use waste in a place where conversations around culture, community and environmental responsibility naturally come together.
Whether you’re popping in after a gallery visit, exploring the plastic pollution display, or simply enjoying the sea views, Café Limelight is proud to be part of Bude’s growing network of cafés choosing reuse over disposable.
