Ben has long championed action on environmental issues affecting Cornwall’s coastline and communities. His commitment to tackling single-use waste and protecting our beaches makes his support for Cup Club Bude especially meaningful.

Having the endorsement of our local MP adds weight to what we are trying to achieve — showing that Bude, as a small coastal town, can lead the way in tackling single-use waste. It also strengthens our applications for funding and gives our community project a louder voice at a national level.
Cup Club Bude launches on Saturday 11th October at Crooklets Beach Cafe, making Bude the first town in Cornwall to pilot a returnable cup scheme. We’d love for as many people as possible to join us on the day, grab their first coffee in a Cup Club cup, and be part of this change. 🌍
